A busy year
The past year has been a crazy one. Twenty twenty-three started with the first of 3 weddings of 3 of my 5 children. The last wedding was the one that was the most hard won. As happy as I was for my two daughters, my son's wedding in April at age 32 came after many roller coaster years of dating.
This summer then followed with the births of two more grandsons. With our instant granddaughter that joined our family in April we went from 2 to 5 grandchildren in 4 months.
Then a couple weeks ago, our youngest turned 18 and moved out the following day to go to college. We had recently purchased an investment property by the University of Utah for our daughter to live in and proceeded to find 5-6 other tenants to fill the 6 bedrooms.
Life has been busy. With the 24-25 school year off and all my children raised to adulthood, I think it is a good time to pick up my writing again and get my goal of finishing my 3 part memoirs completed. The sand is in the sandbox - and now comes the fun of shaping the sand into beautiful sand castles.
Here we go!
